The Momentum Insurance Template has been developed in line with ACT's strategy of technology independence. This means that the system can be installed on hardware and databases that are not restricted to a single supplier. This has resulted in the choice of Microsoft, UNIX or MVS operating systems and hardware, SQL compliant databases and PC's for a client/server application. A Graphical User Interface (GUI), is used for all screen work.
The development methodology and environment is object orientation (00), coupled to a sophisticated development environment for software generation.
